Triple Play (aka Uptown Trio) are make up of former members of Roanoke’s premier variety band Encore. Featuring Gary Bannister on lead vocals who was part of local jazz group Reflections, the trio also features Bev Williamson and Merle Ayers. The trio group plays a mixture of Beach Music, Motown Hits, and tunes from the ‘60s and ‘70s.
