Marie Anderson is an acoustic solo musician and singer/songwriter based in Smith Mountain Lake. Her style is anywhere from Rock, Country, Folk, Blues, R&B, to Top-40. At times, Marie utilizes a loop station during her performances, allowing her to create layers of sound and music to give her show the feel of multiple musicians.

Marie regularly plays venues in Smith Mountain Lake, Roanoke, Lexington, Blacksburg, Pulaski, Lynchburg, and Martinsville such as The Hotel Roanoke’s Pine Room, The Quarter, Mango’s, Annie Moore’s, and Milano’s, as well as area country clubs, vineyards, breweries, and restaurants.

She has played with national artists Erick Baker, Lizzy Ross, and Kara Clark, as well as local artists/bands such as Chuck Johnson, Jojo Stockton, Aaron Oberg, Hardrive, Black Mountain Shine, The Floorboards, Manic Farm, Riverbank Ramblers, Sanchito Green, Triad, Yesterday’s Child.
