58 West was formed in June 2004 at a barbeque cookout when a group of guys got to together for a jam session amongst old friends. 

As a result of that night we were asked to play a couple of gigs for private parties and decided to dust off the PA and get back into performing on a regular basis again and like most groups picked the first name that came to mind, The Souled Out Band. 
As the bookings began to increase, and our traveling distance as well, we learned of another band in Virginia playing under the same name and decided to change our name to 58 West (The road in front of where we got together for the first time).

58 West has built a following of fans from young to old who enjoy the wide variety of music in our repertoire, a wide mix of Beach, R&B, Soul, Disco, Rock and Oldies.
